First, she rightly states that many people who are considered "poor" can afford flat screen TVs, etc., but they can't find the money for health insurance. Second, she points out that people who have no problem spending $200 to get their hair done or a manicure bitch about a $20 out of pocket co-pay to see a doctor. 60 plus years of government intervention into our lives at exponential rates has gotten us where we are today - a big mess - and yet still so many people think that more government intervention is going to reverse that trend or help? Sometimes I think that as a group or species we are too stupid to survive. Ann Coulter’s column this week has some interesting points.
