Senator Rowland Burris of Illinois, the Senator who was appointed to fill President Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, blames George Bush for Chicago not getting the Olympics in 2016. Burris stated in an interview, shortly after the announcement, that the image of the U. S. has been so tarnished in the last 8 years that, even Barack Obama making an unprecedented pitch for the games could not overcome the hatred the world has for us as a result of George Bush.

I saw the interview. Pathetic, but predictable.

Bob, what Jarret has a “vested interest” in is a company called Habitat that owns slum properties around Chicago. There was speculation that Habitat would have gotten a contract deal in some form.

Bob, they already perceived him as weak. Obama is a “cult of personality” onto himself. The media wants us to believe the world loves him. Yeah, the commie bastards out there in places like Europe and South America where government feeds them, houses them, and ~~educates~~ brainwashes them.

Presidents don’t get involved in stuff like that unless it’s a done deal. That’s why many speculated it was already in the bag when he flew over there. Obama’s cronies in Chicago were probably already setting up the accounts to stash the money they were going to make. He now has egg on his face for failing to secure the Olympics. World leaders will perceive him as weak.
