Personally I am waiting to see how long it takes for the kept whores and the liberal (commie rat-bastard) democrats to come out smearing the IOC saying:

But let’s move on anyway.
First off, let’s start with a Top 10 list:
10. Dead people can’t vote at IOC meetings
9. Obama distracted by 25 min meeting with Gen. McChrystal
8. Who cares if Obama couldn’t talk the IOC into Chicago? He’ll be able to talk Iran out of nukes.
7. The impediment is Israel still building settlements.
6. Obviously no president would have been able to acomplish it.
5. We’ve been quite clear and said all along that we didn’t want the Olympics.
4. This isn’t about the number of Olympics “lost”, it’s about the number of Olympics “saved” or “created”.
3. Clearly not enough wise Latina judges on the committee
2. Because the IOC is racist.
1. It’s George Bush’s fault.
Then I found these while scouring the intertubes:
Obama can’t be compared to Hitler any more because at least Hitler brought the Olympics to Berlin.
Obama is such an idiot. There is no way he can be the anti-Christ.
Last but not least is this piece about the New York Times running cover for Obama.
Here’s how they doctored their story. It went from this:
He put Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. to work making calls and sent Michelle Obama to Copenhagen a couple days early to buttonhole committee members. On Air Force One with him Friday, Mr. Obama brought a couple cabinet officers from Illinois, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and Education Secretary Arne Duncan, as well as Senator Dick Durban. Before leaving Washington, Mrs. Obama made clear how seriously the first couple took the matter.
“Take no prisoners,” she vowed.
After his formal presentation to the committee, Mr. Obama shook hands as he left the room, then joined members in a brief mixer, pigeonholing them one on one for the Chicago bid, a little elbow bending familiar to politics the world over.
And the prospect of winning was too irresistible. After all, Mr. Obama has already envisioned the day when he could welcome the world to his hometown, never mind that small matter of reelection. “In 2016, I’ll be wrapping up my second term as president,” he told a rally in Chicago in June 2008. “So I can’t think of a better way than to be marching into Washington Park … as president of the United States and announcing to the world: Let the Games begin!”
…
As he made his pitch, the Republican National Committee back home sent out an email attacking him under the subject line “Wrong Priorities.” The Republican statement cited a variety of news stories and commentaries to suggest that the president was busy with the Olympics but not tackling unemployment, that the Olympics actually cost the cities that host them and that several advisers and allies would be the ones to benefit.
“They shouldn’t try to make politics of this,” Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff and a Chicagoan himself, told ABC News. “I think they should take some pride in the U.S.’s win, and you know, we’ll make sure they get some good seats once Chicago does host the games.”
To this:
His critics complained even before the defeat that it was a waste of his valuable time when so many more important issues are on his plate. Even as Mr. Obama was on stage in Copenhagen, the Republican National Committee back home sent out an e-mail message attacking him under the subject line, “Wrong Priorities.”
The Republican statement cited a variety of news stories and commentaries to make the case that the president was busy with the Olympics while more jobs were being lost, that the Olympics actually cost the cities that host them and that several advisers and allies would have been the ones to benefit.
Mr. Gibbs dismissed the criticism as inevitable partisan carping. “There’s people trying to solve problems and there’s people playing games,” he said. “If he hadn’t come, people would have said, ‘I can’t believe he didn’t go.’
” Given that much of the trip was spent flying over the Atlantic overnight and that the presentation was around 3 a.m. Washington time, Mr. Gibbs said it consumed few regular work hours that would have gone to other priorities. Mr. Obama also used the opportunity to meet for 25 minutes with his Afghanistan commander, Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, who flew to Copenhagen from London, where he was on business. “The biggest loss of anything on this trip was sleep,” Mr. Gibbs said.
Mr. Obama was on the ground in Copenhagen just five hours and did not stay for the vote. He learned that Chicago had not even made it to the final round while watching a CNN transmission whose signal cut in and out aboard Air Force One as it passed over Cabot Strait between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia
….He put Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. to work making calls and sent Michelle Obama to Copenhagen a couple of days early to buttonhole committee members. His senior adviser, Valerie Jarrett, consulted with Tony Blair, the former British prime minister, whose personal lobbying won London the 2012 Summer Games.
Before leaving Washington, Mrs. Obama made clear how seriously the first couple took the matter, saying “the gloves are off” and they would “take no prisoners.”
In the end, though, it was a battle lost.
As Weaselzippers points out:
Now there is no mention of BO’s ‘end of second term’ quote or Rahm’s ‘good seats’ quote. There is no mention of Cabinet Members or Dick Durban flying over with BO. There is mention however, of the McChrystal meeting (as Rush said there would be)
So let’s just chalk it up to another great Obama victory, shall we?

Presidents don’t get involved in stuff like that unless it’s a done deal. That’s why many speculated it was already in the bag when he flew over there. Obama’s cronies in Chicago were probably already setting up the accounts to stash the money they were going to make. He now has egg on his face for failing to secure the Olympics. World leaders will perceive him as weak.
Bob, they already perceived him as weak. Obama is a “cult of personality” onto himself. The media wants us to believe the world loves him. Yeah, the commie bastards out there in places like Europe and South America where government feeds them, houses them, and
educatesbrainwashes them. The politicians know he’s an empty suit and knowing he is weak, used this opportunity to rub his nose in it.
I can’t stop laughing. When arrogant assholes get slapped down and humiliated…well, it just warms the heart and makes the sun shine a little brighter.
The asshole should be worrying about TODAY and not 2016……
What a shame the racketeering scum of the Chicago Machine won’t have this windfall to milk, LOLOL
Aren’t things going great since Valerie Jarret has been running the country?
I had read somewhere that Jarret owned a bit of property that would have been sold to build the Olympic village.
Bob, what Jarret has a “vested interest” in is a company called Habitat that owns slum properties around Chicago. There was speculation that Habitat would have gotten a contract deal in some form.
1. It’s George Bush’s fault.
http://www.current-movie-reviews.com/people/2009/10/02/chicago-out-of-contention-for-2016-olympics-senator-rowland-burris-blames-bush/
I saw the interview. Pathetic, but predictable.
What can you expect from a 1st class A-hole like Burris. The Democrats didn’t even want this clown in the Senate. If he had any honor, he would have turned down the tainted appointment he received.
It’s his other failures that we should concern ourselves with, not
the dumbass olympics!
