Dhimmitude appears top be running rampant in the US now.
A few days ago Lisa posted about how some Muslims were all pissed off that a bar was serving alcohol. They even threatened him.
After the recent FergusStock, a festival during which famed British chef Fergus Henderson cooked whole pigs for a rapt crowd of New York chefs and foodies, Mr. Friedman said the mosque’s leaders called a meeting with the hotel. “They said, ‘Can you move the bar?’” he said. “And I laughed. And the guy said, ‘Oh, you think that’s funny?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, that is funny, that is really funny, because we’re not going to move the bar just because you discovered we’re serving booze.’ Can you name one restaurant in New York that doesn’t serve booze?”
Mr. Friedman and his partner, Spotted Pig chef April Bloomfield, did agree to nix plans for a dive bar in a townhouse next door, but as for the restaurant, “I said, ‘This is the United States of America and we’ll do whatever the fuck we want.’” He said the mosque had suggested it couldn’t control the behavior of “a few bad eggs”; i.e., “we could get a brick through our window.” Mr. Friedman said he made the police aware of this threat.
I hope Mr. Henderson not only roasts a pig on a spit and serves it to crowds but that he also get a few dogs to hang around. Maybe they can cross the street to piss and crap on the mosque’s grounds.

But for all those who think like me, there are a whole shitload of dhimmi moonbats out there kissing CAIR ass.
Like the Congressional Black Caucus, Asian Caucus and the Hispanic Caucus who come running like lap dogs to CAIR’s defense.
Why? Because some republican congressmen want to have CAIR investigated.
Earlier this week, NewsRealblog reported that four Republican lawmakers, led by Rep. Sue Myrick of North Carolina (the others being Trent Franks of Arizona, Paul Broun of Georgia and John Shadegg of Arizona), were asking Congressional Sergeant-at-Arms Wilson Livingood to investigate whether the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a U.S. non-profit Muslim activist group associated with Islamist terrorist organizations such as Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and al-Qaeda, has placed their operatives as “interns” on the staffs of members of targeted national security-related Congressional committees, including the Intelligence, Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees.
Myrick’s group is right to be concerned.
Since the September 11 attacks, 15 CAIR officials including its Executive Director, Nihad Awad and its founding Chairman, Omar Ahmad, have been either convicted or investigated on terror charges, or have fled the country. In 2008, CAIR was named as a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism case in Dallas, Texas, which led to guilty verdicts on 108 charges based on funneling more than $12 million to Hamas.
Although they claim to be a benign group with no aim other than to protect the rights of all Muslim-Americans, CAIR’s leaders have gone on record as to what their real intentions are.
f course, Keith Ellison, Duimmycrap from Minnesota, came trotting up to defend them, too:
Rep. Keith Ellison: The idea that we should investigate Muslim interns as spies is a blow to the very principle of religious freedom that our founding fathers cherished so dearly.” If anything, we should be encouraging all Americans to engage in the U.S. political process; to take part in, and to contribute to, the great democratic experiment that is America.
These charges smack of America sixty years ago, where lists of ‘un-American’ agitators were identified. We should be affirming the importance of diversity and tolerance for all interns and staff who serve in Congress, without suspicion of being identified as spies. The idea that we should investigate Muslim interns as spies is a blow to the very principle of religious freedom that our Founding Fathers cherished so dearly.
I know what should happen to CAIR but if I were to say it they’d unleash their lawyers on me. And no, it’s not what you think. It involves lawyers, lawsuits, bankruptcy and jail terms for life.

Then we have CAIR coming out and demanding that the religious faith of that alleged terrorist supporter moron imam that was shot to death in Detroit be kept out of the news.
According to the complaint, Abdullah repeatedly preached a confrontational brand of Islam that advocated the spread of the religion through violent jihad. He also kept weapons in his mosque, used it for martial arts training and was recorded saying it would be a good place from which to sell stolen goods.
However, the faith of Abdullah and 11 alleged co-conspirators should never have entered the case, argued spokesmen for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee.
In an interview on WDET-FM in Detroit, CAIR’s Michigan Executive Director Dawud Walid said the emphasis on Islam could trigger a backlash against other Muslims and contribute to Islamophobia. The ADC’s Michigan Regional Director Imad Hamad expressed similar concerns on the same program. Both men indicated that they expressed their concerns to the FBI.
And as pointed out in the link, when CAIR says “jump!” the FBI asks, “how high?”
Federal officials arrested one fugitive and asked the public for help in finding two suspects who remain at large, and could be dangerous, after Wednesday’s raids in Detroit and Dearborn that resulted in a shootout and killing of the head of an Islamic fundamentalist group.
U.S. Attorney Terrence Berg also asked people not to connect the group, headed by Luqman Ameen Abdullah, with Muslims in general. Abdullah, 53, was killed in a shootout with FBI agents Wednesday at a Dearborn warehouse.
Berg said the group in question “is a specific brand of radical ideology.”
If that’s not dhimmitude, I do not know what is.

But it gets better. In what I thought was another story out of England, I was disheartened to find out it took place in the US. Namely, that the sentence for an al qaeda sleeper agent was cut in half.
Why?
Because of the “severe treatment” he got.
No. Not waterboarding or having panties placed on his head:
His lawyers report that al-Marri has described being subjected to extreme cold, with insufficient bedding and clothing. He has been deprived of all reading material, except a Qur’an. Unlike the cells at Guantanamo Bay, which all have an arrow painted on the floor that points toward Mecca, his guards reportedly decline to inform him of which direction is East. In addition to his cell’s window being merely translucent (rather than transparent), he also claims to have no clock, preventing him from knowing the proper times to say prayers. He has also reportedly been deprived of personal hygiene items. [9] The lack of such items have reportedly also rendered him unable to pray as a result of ritual impurity.
This is the kind of judge we want in our judicial system? The kind that puts our country at risk?
Somehow these seemed appropriate.

This country is headed for a fall and our politicians and courts are doing the shoving.
Every stinking group in congress has it’s caucus. It’s about time they have an America First caucus.
