At first I read this story thinking Canada was dealing with an illegal and was going to make some cold-hearted snarky comment about how the Philippines needs to deal with their own citizenry. But I did not have to go far.
Then I read that the Canadian government authorized this woman’s arrival and stay in the country.
Juana Tejada wants to stay – and die – in Canada.
A live-in caregiver from the Philippines, the terminally ill cancer patient will be forced to leave when her work permit expires in two months, even though her period of service here as a nanny was supposed to be the gateway to permanent residency.
Tejada has twice been denied a chance to stay, however, because her illness puts a burden on the health-care system. …
So heere is an excellent example of socialized heralth care refusing to provide treatment.
And leftist idiots call conservatives cold hearted and non-caring!!
