Apparently so in Pembroke, Illinois (90% black but 55% republican) where they have 47% unemployment.
They’ve done away with their police and shut down schools.
Their solution to fix the problem?
The town is applying for millions of dollars in federal grants to build some 60 low-income homes.
OH YEAH!!! That’s the ticket! Attract people who don’t have good jobs (or jobs at all.) That’ll REALLY boost the economy!!
